Improving quality of life through art & leisure
The National Centre for Infectious Diseases is a specialised public healthcare facility in Singapore dedicated to the prevention, surveillance, diagnosis, and treatment of infectious diseases. Along with the Ng Teng Fong Centre for Healthcare Innovation located beside it, it is part of the Novena Health City master plan development, combining the rebuilt Communicable Disease Centre with a new medical education block.
Located opposite Tan Tock Seng Hospital and next to the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, the complex is linked to surrounding buildings via bridges and underpasses. Its design allows clinical areas to be isolated during outbreaks, while training and administrative spaces remain functional, supported by separate circulation routes for patients, staff, and visitors.
