Improving quality of life through art & leisure
Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and Jurong Community Hospital (NTFGH-JCH) is a next-generation healthcare hub in Singapore, combining eight levels of specialist clinics, a 700-bed general hospital, and a 286-bed community hospital. Together, they provide a seamless continuum from acute care to step-down recovery.
Departing from conventional designs, the hospitals’ wards use a herringbone layout, giving every patient a window to reduce cross-infection and allow ample bedside space. Wards are flexible, accommodating different service classes. NTFGH supports JCH with medical and general services, while JCH cares for recovering NTFGH patients. The hub also features expansive parks, jogging tracks, and rehabilitation facilities for patients and the community.
