The State Courts, together with the Family Justice Courts, form Singapore’s integrated judiciary hub. Designed with eco-friendly features and Universal Design principles, the State Courts Towers broke new ground in the exploration of high-rise typology for courthouse design.
Featuring an innovative two towers strategy, the State Courts has one tower dedicated to the courtrooms, hearing chambers, and court supporting functions while the other tower houses the judges’ offices, staff offices, and support functions. The two high-rise towers are linked by a series of link bridges that enable the controlled circulation necessary for the courtroom process. In 2023, the State Courts Towers was awarded the President*s Design Award (P*DA), for Design of the Year.
