Improving quality of life through art & leisure
Tanjong Katong Girls’ School underwent a campus upgrading project: updating classrooms, creating specialised spaces for music and drama, improving technology equipment to accommodate new teaching and learning pedagogical needs, expanding the library on the ground level, and designing a consolidated indoor sports facility with CCA rooms. Existing courtyards were reconfigured for outdoor use, and new circulation routes such as decks and landscaped paths would link key parts of the school.
Selected architectural elements from the older buildings, including characteristic timber and curved features, were retained and adapted within the renewed campus.
