As a drone or unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is an unmanned aircraft, all UAV operators need to apply for a permit from the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS). We recommend this Advanced course to help you with preparations ahead of your application for the permit. You will learn to operate the UAV in manual mode (ATTI or Attitude mode), an important requirement if GPS or other visual positioning signals are weak and pilot intervention is needed. You will benefit from an in-depth understanding of failsafe measures, automation flight, and various safety and maintenance considerations.
