Course Objectives

  • Learn the fundamentals of BIM and Autodesk Revit®
  • Navigate the Revit interface and understand its key components.
  • Create and manage architectural drawings, models, and documentation.
  • Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D views.
  • Work with walls, doors, windows, roofs, and other building components.
  • Understand how to implement parametric design and object-based modeling.
  • Generate construction documents and prepare model for presentation or construction.
  • Collaborate with project teams using Revit’s built-in tools.<

Course Outline / Structure

  • Learn the fundamentals of BIM and Revit®, including interface navigation, project setup, and viewing commands
  • Master essential drawing and editing tools, incuding basic and advanced modify toold for efficient drawings creation
  • Understand how to set levels, create grids, and add columns, along with linking and importing CAD files
  • Learn how to model and modify walls, forming the foundation of your architectural designs
  • Gain skills in inserting, modifying, and customizing doors, windows, and curtain walls for architectural precision
  • Expire view display settings, duplicating views, and adding callouts, sections, and elevations to enhance documentation
  • Learn how to add and modify architectural components like furniture, fixtures, and other elements to enrich the model
  • Understand the processes of modeling floors, creating sloped floors, ceilings, and different types of roofs
  • Master the creation and modification of componennts stairs, railings, and ramps, including custom stair sketches
  • Learn how to set up sheets, place views, print documents, and create detailed annotations and schedules for professional construction documentation and drawings presentation

Participants who meet the attendance requirement will be awarded an Autodesk Certificate of Completion.
