BIM for Project Managers

Course Introduction

This course will empower Project Managers (PMs), especially those with limited or no prior training in BIM modelling, to confidently oversee a BIM workflow, participate in discussions about BIM and other digital transformation initiatives, and review 3D models independently. This course has been developed for the next-generation project managers who want to progress further in this digital age. Exposure to BIM will enable project managers to gain efficiencies and boost collaboration in their projects.

Introduction to BIM for Project Management: This course introduces BIM and its relevance in the construction industry, with a focus on how Project Managers can leverage BIM for more effective project delivery.

BIM’s Role in Project Management: Learn the importance of BIM for enhancing project coordination, communication, and decision-making throughout the lifecycle of a construction project.

Hands-on Learning: The course offers a mix of theory and practical sessions, gain hands-on experience with Autodesk Navisworks Freedom, a free and lightweight BIM tool, to review BIM drawings and promote effective BIM implementation in project planning, execution, and management.
